SENO is a digital communication tool that, together with new working methods, provides a safer and more secure titration of antidepressants. The patient can, together with relatives and the healthcare provider, in completely new ways, discuss how the patient is feeling and the effect of the medicine.
With closer communication between patient and caregiver, a deteriorating mood can be detected more quickly. Consensus on treatment is increasing. The family becomes more involved and can more easily follow the patient's mood.
The mobile communication enables remote registration, which provides the opportunity for more frequent reporting. More frequent and clear data means that doctors and nurses faster can get an idea of how the medicine works and can make the necessary adjustments.
Digitized working methods reduce administration. With integrated self-assessment forms, manual handling disappears, which is often very extensive. Instant messaging to the patient's phone replaces many phone calls.

The patient uses the SENO app to register if they have taken their medicine, answer some questions about their condition and any side effects.
The SENO app also contains a number of different self-assessment forms that the patient can fill out directly on their phone. This saves a lot of time for the caregivers which do not have to deal with manual administration of these.
The SENO app is available today in Swedish and English and can be downloaded via the Apple App Store or Google Play.
SENO offers patients and caregivers a new method of administering antidepressant drugs, two regions have each started their own study to investigate whether this works as well in this patient group as HIPR works for ADHD medication.
